For maximum convenience and value, we offer our Store Support services through a recurring monthly subscription model. Our packages offer ongoing support with our best rates, and can be revised or terminated at any time before your subscription renewal date. Service hours are intended to be used every month, but have an additional one month rollover. Hours do not accrue past two months.

Store Support FAQs

Do I really have access to all services at that rate?

Yep, we really do give you access to any of the services listed above; however, API-related tasks use time at 1.5x the stated rate.

And no long-term contracts?

That's right! We are confident that you will be so impressed with our value and customer service that you'll want to continue your Shopify maintenance forever! However, if you find that you need to discontinue your service for some reason, just let us know. You could even try something like three months on, three months off -- whatever suits your needs. When you're ready to increase or decrease the interval or type of service just let us know -- it's that easy.

Note: Our Recurring Monthly packages are billed up front and are not refundable. If you wish to cancel, please do so before your monthly renewal date.

What if I don’t use all my hours? Do my Recurring Monthly hours roll over?

Active subscriptions roll over your remaining hours from that month for one additional month, at which point they expire.

What if I need something major done?

Start with a higher package to get your major changes implemented and then switch to a package that fits your ongoing needs. Or, contact us and we'll determine what service level is best for you.

What if I have more than one Shopify store?

It is our intention that Store Support packages be used on a per-store basis. However, if you have multiple Shopify stores, please contact us and we'd be happy to help you. Our automated backups are designed to be used for one store, but additional store backup services can be purchased separately.

Where are you located?

Inkblot Digital is based in Southern California, about 20 minutes south of Disneyland. We are native English speakers but also have fluency in Spanish.



Automated Backup FAQs

Why would I need an automated backup? Can't I back it all up myself?

You can certainly run your own backups, as your access is the same as ours; however, much of your store data is not easily exported and many forget to do so. Also, did you know standard Shopify backups do not automatically backup your template? If you accidentally overwrite template layout or styling changes, need to find historical data, or experience data loss, you could seriously damage your store or your business. Our responsible team will make sure your backup happens on time each month.

What is included in the Shopify backup service?

Our backup service includes the following:

  • Entire template
  • Product data
  • Category data
  • Customer data
  • Blog posts
  • 301 Redirects

How long will you keep the backups?

We will keep the backups for as long as you keep your service active. Worried about canceling your service? No problem. We'll happily send you the most recent backup when you cancel or all historical backup files for a small fee.
